Marriage contract of Fatimah, known as Khanum Jan, the daughter of Husayn ‘Ali Akbar Paykani, and Ghulamriza, the son of ‘Ali ‘Abdul; the mahr includes: twelve tumans, three mans of copperware, two mans of Arabian kilim, a set of Isfahani chintz bedding, two sets of women's outfits, one made of silk and the other of Isfahani chintz, and the price of a building originally valued at two tumans, and the price of a building originally valued at two tumans, but which both parties agreed was worth three tumans of the original mahr and twenty-five Tasujs [unit of weight] of wheat.

Marriage contract and divorce settlement, 1884 and 1888
One side is the marriage contract of Baygum Jan, daughter of Sayyid Husayn son of Sayyid Nasr Allah, and Muhammad Isma‘il, son of the late Muhammad Riza Da’i. The mahr is sixty tumans, of which the groom paid thirty tumans in women's clothing, rugs, gold, and copper worth five tumans. The other thirty tumans remain the groom's debt. The document reads in part: Aqa ʻAbd al-Rasul has settled all his properties and belongings (except a part of a rice farm) to his wife, Khadijah Bibi (the daughter of Aqa Sayyid Jaʻfar Razavi) for 100 dinars and one man (3 kilograms) of wheat. Khadijah Bibi (daughter of Aqa Sayyid Jaʻfar Razavi) has additionally settled 40 tumans mahr to her husband, Aqa ʻAbd al-Rasul for 100 dinars and a man (three kilograms) of barley, December, 22, 1851.
